USES
Floor Hardener PM-700 is heavy duty hardener that produces dense, hard surface on horizontal concrete and improves slip resistance in pedestrian and vehicular traffic areas.

SPECIFICATION AND PROPERTIES

  • Type: Powder
  • Colour: Natural, green, red, yellow and orange.
  • Binder: Portland Cement
  • Aggregate: Silica Sand up to 1.2 mm maximum size
  • Additives: Water soluble additives to improve workability, durability and bonding
  • Dry density: 1.7 kg/l
  • Wet density: 1.8 kg/l
  • Open time: 10 – 15 minutes ( on even weather )
  • Adhesion Strength ( Pull off ): > 1.0 N/mm² after 28 days
  • Compressive Strength: > 60 N/mm² after 28 days
  • Mohs Hardness: 6 – 7 skala moh’s
  • Abrasion Resistance to plain concrete floor : > 200 %
  • Coverage Area: 5 – 6 kg / m² / 3 mm

PREPARATION
Clean the floor surface from dust, dirt, and other material which may effect the bonding strength.

APPLICATION

  • Adjacent concrete surface should be protected by plastic sheeting during application and finishing of the floor hardener.
  • Coverage requirements vary according to intended use and color, it should be 5 – 6 kg / m².
  • Bridges may be needed for wider areas during the initial application of floor hardener when power floating or hand floating.
  • Floor hardener should be applied after concrete substrate has reached the point where bleed water disappears and floating process will not disrupt the level of surface.
  • The floor hardener should never be used to dry bleed water remaining on the surface.
  • Using the dry – shake method to be broadcast uniformly across the surface.
  • Then it must be thoroughly and completely worked into the surface by power or hand floating.

STORAGE AND PACKAGING
Always store in dry place away from contact with moisture and water.
Floor Hardener PM-700 storage times should not exceed 12 month.
